This is a briefcase for someone who carries a laptop, not a soft tote pretending to be one. Black-and-brown brindle hair-on cowhide across both outer faces, bound edge to edge in black grain leather, with a top handle for the lift out of a car and an adjustable shoulder strap for the walk after. Care Instructions:

Keep it dry. Hair-on hide must not be soaked, machine washed or dry cleaned.
Brush gently WITH the direction of the hair using a soft dry brush.
Wipe the leather binding, handle and strap with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heaters.
Light shedding in the first few weeks is normal. Thinning at the handle, strap pad and corners is expected with regular use.
Do not overload the main compartment — a bag stretched permanently out of shape will not recover.
